Saskatchewan Vaping Regulations

In early November 2019, Saskatchewan introduced amendments to the Tobacco Control Act to bring regulation of vaping more in line with tobacco legislation. The bill was debated and passed one day after it was introduced.

The new rules prohibit the sale of vaping products to youth under 18, bans the promotion of vaping in places that young people gather such as arcades, theatres and amusement parks, and restricts vaping in and close to public buildings like schools.

The regulations came into effect February 1, 2020.
